Stepping into my 35th year feels less like a milestone to check off and more like a gentle landing inside my own skin. For a long time, earlier decades can feel like a search for where we fit, what we should achieve, or who we are supposed to become.
There is an unmistakable shift happening all around us right now. The soil is warming, green shoots are pushing through the dark earth, and the light lingers just a little longer each afternoon. After months of winter’s quiet internal focus, nature is extending an invitation to unfurl, open up, and step back into the sun.
Grief is perhaps the heaviest emotion we ever carry, and yet it is one of the most natural responses to deep love and transformation. So often, society urges us to move through sorrow quickly, to find silver linings, or to put on a brave face before our hearts are ready.
